I believe strongly in the importance of sustainable transportation networks. Bike lanes, trails, and sidewalks are a critical part of our transportation infrastructure. For years I have argued, along with a number of my colleagues, for complete streets in new subdivisions and the inclusion of bike lanes whenever streets are being reconfigured. This long push has resulted in a change of policy in the city culminating in the passage of the Complete Streets Resolution this summer.
